Who Is This For?
Anyone...
who wants more balance and peace in their life;
who is on the lookout for ideas/advice/inspiration;
who does not believe that they are capable of transformation, strength and greatness;
who believes that the life they want is out of their reach;
who simply likes what I have to say;
who wants to live more consciously;
who wants to change but is not sure where to start;
who lives in a story of powerlessness and pessimism;
who is vaguely or distinctly dissatisfied with at least one major aspect of their lives;
who is ready to think differently about their challenges.
I have wanted to share my story for a long time because I believed in my heart that it could have value for others. In addition to my own story, I have heard and followed the stories of hundred’s of people through my nearly 9 years coaching and facilitating workshops for WW (formerly Weight Watchers).
I learned for myself, and want to teach others, that your body and mind are giving you information all the time - we just need to listen and learn. I see so many people who don't embrace their own power for change - they are resigned to the struggle, or to not having the life they want. But, that message (your whole life is out of balance and now you need to change) is common, defeating and overwhelming, and certainly is not my story.
I want my audience to understand that they can start with one small decision to do better in one area, that it is never too late, that you can persist, and that you can succeed - you are the only thing in your own way. This is my story. It was a decade of small decisions that took me in directions I did not anticipate. For example, joining WW was the first step in changing my relationship with food (I wanted to lose weight, period, it was not deep). But that simple decision to do something about the weight opened up huge learnings and opportunities for me that are still impacting me.
This is my platform to honestly share my path with you, and in turn, invite you to EXAMINE your own life, DO something different, TRY something novel, SEEK a new solution.
Happy reading friends!
