What Do You Do?

When…

What do you do when you want to write an encouraging and helpful blog post every week and the creative and idea well is dry?

What do you do when you have lived through a pandemic and are coming out on the other side but nothing is really changing yet, and you have no idea when it really will?

What do you do when you feel unenergetic and uninspired?

What do you do when you procrastination is creeping into your days?

What do you do when you can see some positive changes coming, but for now, they just sit on the horizon?

Although I have struggled some weeks with the blog content, this is the first time that none of my ideas fleshed out.  The rest of it - we have all been there and this is where I was this week.

So here I am with no post about food, or mindfulness, or the power of exercise.  And you know what?  It’s okay - because I will persist.

What did I do?  What can you do?  Whatever you need to.

  • Actively seek out beauty.

  • Clean, organize, or make orderly a small spot of your digital or physical world.

  • Notice what you are grateful for.

  • Do not expect perfection from yourself or anyone else.

  • Spend time with your pets if you have them.

  • Show up to do the work but be kind to yourself.

  • Get outside in the sunshine.

  • Reach out.

  • Make yourself something good to eat.

Wishing you peace this week.
